From the winemaker: Our 2019 Barrel 16 Pinot Noir represents the best of the vintage with a concentrated, earthy expression of our diverse Russian River Valley vineyard sites. A silky and smooth Pinot Noir, Barrel 16 offers hints of mocha, cedar, black tea leaf and star anise that open to blackcurrant, dark morello cherry, crushed ripe raspberry and wild strawberry characteristics. Super-fine tannins and barrel spice notes provide outstanding depth and texture, with acidity adding an appealing sense of structural freshness on the rich, full-bodied palate.
