What Is The Case Wine Life?

Welcome to Casewinelife.com, where our small business journey began during the height of the Pandemic. As seasoned restaurateurs with over twenty years of experience, we were caught off guard when the Governor of Virginia shut down our dining rooms to curb the spread of Covid-19. Our family-owned restaurant, Bozzelli's, was founded in the late '70s, and for decades, customers enjoyed pairing wine with our Italian subs and pizza. We never imagined a day when that would no longer be possible.

But how did we respond? First, we kept our cool, which was crucial as we brainstormed our next steps. Just before Covid-19 hit, we had begun to see some success selling beer and wine through delivery apps. With the lockdowns, these apps became essential for reaching customers, especially as a survey revealed that 53 percent of wine drinkers were hesitant to enter a store to purchase wine again. Seeing this shift, we expanded our wine shipping program. It was a simple if wine drinkers did not want to go physical stores, we needed to bring the wine to them—and that's how Casewinelife.com was born.

The name came from watching Gary Vaynerchuck, founder of Wine Library TV, host his 1000th episode on YouTube. He was reviewing a chardonnay that he thought was perfect for summer because it was so refreshing and said verbatim, "If you are about that case wine life, then you are going to want to buy a couple of cases of this for the summer." 

Since we started we have grown to become one of the top wine shippers in the country, serving major conferences—including one attended by a former U.S. President—countless weddings, and numerous oenophiles across the nation who enjoy having wine delivered straight to their door. We’re constantly studying consumer behavior, and our portfolio reflects the rise of premiumization in the marketplace. That’s why we work hard to keep wines like Belle Glos, Caymus and Opus One in stock for you.
