About This Wine

Established in 1851, Charles-Camille Heidsieck, a member of a highly regarded Champagne family, founded his own house in Reims. He earned the nickname "Champagne Charlie" and extensively promoted the brand through his travels.

This champagne has a radiant gold color and boasts delicate, lively bubbles that result from a slow and careful aging process in chalk cellars. Made with 40% reserve wines, it offers a rich and complex aroma that includes freshly baked brioche, toasted nuts, and an array of sun-drenched fruits such as mango, apricot, and greengage plum, along with hints of dried fruits, pistachio, and almond. The meticulous selection of crus ensures a sophisticated and harmonious taste. The texture is reminiscent of a crispy nougat layer on a creamy pastry filled with juicy plums and ripe cherries. The addition of reserve wines, some of which are more than 15 years old, adds a luxurious touch. Thanks to the two-thousand year old chalk cellars where it matures, this cuvée develops an exquisite depth and complexity.
