The Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru 'Les Malconsorts' is a truly exceptional wine. As proud owners of 1.75 ha (4.3 acres) of this coveted vineyard, we are fortunate to be located near renowned vineyards, including Romane?e-Conti and Richebourg. The name "Malconsorts" hints at a history of conflict amongst the "mauvais consorts" (bad partners) who shared this land, as "CONSORS" in Latin means "associate, partner". However, despite any past disputes, these litigants would have no doubt recognized the value of this land. On the nose, delicate primary aromas mingle with subtle hints of oak, leading to a fruity, spicy finish. With time, notes of peppermint and cedar emerge. On the palate, the crispness of Pinot Noir is complemented by smooth, mouth-filling tannins.
