On the nose, you get waves of ripe black fruits—blackberry compote, cassis, and dark plum—layered with notes of graphite, scorched earth, and a touch of sweet tobacco. There’s a modern sheen here, with subtle vanilla and espresso from well-integrated oak, but it never tips into excess. It’s rich, but controlled.
