Golden Vines Takes the Party to Miami for 2025

Wine lovers, take note: The Golden Vines weekend is heading to Miami in 2025 after wowing guests in Madrid this year and prior stops in London, Florence, and Paris. If you thought the 2024 edition was extravagant, Miami is shaping up to be even bigger than a̶ ̶D̶i̶d̶d̶y̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶t̶y the opening of a new ride at Walt Disney World.

In Madrid, the Golden Vines weekend ran from October 25–27 and packed in tastings, masterclasses, and galas with wines from the pantheon of top producers like Dom Pérignon, Château d’Yquem, Krug, and Opus One. The event also had a charitable side, raising over £800,000 for the Gerard Basset Foundation, which supports education for underserved communities in wine, spirits, and hospitality.

The action kicked off on Friday with tastings and masterclasses, followed by a gala dinner at the Real Casa de Correos featuring dishes by Michelin two-star chef Mario Sandoval. Guests sipped on Krug Grand Cuvée 162ème, Vega Sicilia Unico, and Taylor’s Port 50-Year-Old Tawny while bidding on luxury wine experiences in a Sotheby’s auction.  (Now that's a wine flight.)

Saturday included lunches hosted by top wineries like Harlan Estate, Château Cheval Blanc, and Biondi-Santi. A̶p̶o̶t̶h̶i̶c̶ ̶W̶i̶n̶e̶s̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶s̶a̶w̶ ̶v̶a̶l̶e̶t̶ ̶.  C̶a̶v̶i̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶n̶d̶l̶e̶d̶ ̶c̶o̶a̶t̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶c̶k̶.̶

That evening, the awards gala at Palacio Cibeles brought out the best in food and wine. Michelin three-star chefs Joan and Josep Roca curated a five-course dinner paired with wines like Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006 and Château d’Yquem 1983. The evening wrapped with awards for wineries including Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Vega Sicilia, and Harlan Estate.

By Sunday, the indulgence hit its peak with private jet visits to San Sebastian, luxury shopping sprees, and rooftop whiskey tastings.  Y̶e̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶T̶a̶i̶l̶ ̶W̶i̶n̶e̶s̶ ̶g̶a̶s̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶j̶e̶t̶s̶.̶ ̶
For 2025, Miami promises to turn up the heat. Friday’s gala will take place at the historic Dupont Building, and Saturday’s awards dinner will move to the stunning Faena Forum. Expect masterclasses on topics like Bordeaux All-Stars and Iconic Women in Wine, along with lunches featuring Champagne Salon, Château Angelus, and more. Sunday experiences range from a caviar and Champagne brunch to a private jet trip to the Bahamas for lunch with Burgundian winemakers.

Tickets are $15,000 per person, which covers VIP concierge services for travel and logistics. Plus, U.S. taxpayers can make half the cost a deductible donation to Americas Charities Inc.

Miami’s Golden Vines weekend will be one to remember, blending the best in wine, food, and over-the-top luxury. If you’re ready to join the party, now’s the time to start planning.  Which wineries will be helping with valet, coat check and private jet travel has yet to be determined.
