The unique Taittinger Brut La Française is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier wines from over 35 villages. The high proportion of Chardonnay at 40% sets it apart from other non vintage Champagnes. With presses located in the vineyard for immediate fruit pressing and cold fermentation under controlled temperatures, the wine is then blended and undergoes a second fermentation in cool cellars. Aged for nearly 4 years on lees, more than double the legal minimum, this Champagne reaches peak aromatic maturity, resulting in a delicately balanced consistency.
