From the cool Central Coast growing regions where warm weather allows for a long growing season for nice ripe grapes, tempered by the ocean breezes to keep the wine fresh. A key component from the Santa Lucia Highlands lends zippy acidity to balance the weight and texture of the wine. Vinification and elevage in stainless steel tank with a small portion that underwent malolactic fermentation and brief aging in barrel.
