About This Wine
The Taittinger Brut La Française is a unique blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier wines from over 35 villages. Its high proportion of 40% Chardonnay sets it apart from other non vintage Champagnes. The grapes are immediately pressed in the vineyard and undergo a controlled cold fermentation, followed by blending and a second fermentation in cool cellars. Then, it is aged for almost 4 years on lees, which is double the legal minimum, allowing the Champagne to reach its aromatic peak and achieve a perfectly balanced consistency.
