About This Wine
This Merlot originates from Napa Valley vineyards, including family-owned land passed down through Jenny Wagner’s maternal lineage, the Emmolos. Winemakers selected sites with light, gravelly soils and favorable conditions that allow extended “hang time” for grapes to develop complete ripeness. Through techniques such as crop thinning, they crafted a refined and unique Merlot. The wine offers rich dark berry notes, subtle earthiness, and supple, leathery tannins. Specifically, the grapes come from Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll district, adding distinctive regional character.
