Silver Oak 2021 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep ruby in the glass, this vintage opens with cedar, vanilla and clove over a lush bed of blackberry, black cherry and ripe raspberry. On the palate it’s medium-to-full-bodied with supple dark-berry fruit framed by graphite minerality and a whisper of violets. The American-oak spice of toast and clove weaves through the texture, which is held in check by bright acidity and polished tannins. A long, refined finish hints at brown baking spices and clean structure—ready to enjoy now but built for the long haul.
