The 2021 vintage at Napa Valley experienced significantly below average rainfall, resulting in high stress for our vines and low yields. Despite the disappointing business aspect, the smaller and more concentrated grapes allowed our expert winemaking team to produce wines of exceptional depth, intensity, and complexity. Notes of juicy fruits like black cherry, boysenberry, and blackberry jam are enriched by hints of mint, sage, and iron filings, with warming spices, vanilla, and cocoa nib adding to the complexity.
