Trefethen Chardonnay 2022 750ml

This Chardonnay has a crisp profile and delightful scents of lemon, jasmine, white peach, and lavender. The palate showcases a lively acidity and notes of honeydew melon and citrus, providing a refreshing and satisfying finish. Last winter, our region experienced the second consecutive year of below-average rainfall, with the lowest amount since our establishment in 1968. The vines flourished during the warm and dry spring thanks to vigilant weed control and irrigation by our dedicated vineyard team. The summer months from June to September were cooler than usual, allowing for optimal flavor development and resulting in exceptional wines. Despite lower yields due to the drought, our wines showcase the unique terroir of the Oak Knoll District at the cooler, southern tip of Napa Valley.
