About This Wine
Sesti Estate is a Tuscan producer known for its internationally acclaimed wines, including Brunello di Montalcino and Toscana IGT. Founded in 1987, Sesti follows the lunar calendar in their winemaking practices, influenced by their founder's background in astrology. With 102 hectares of land, only nine are dedicated to grapevines, producing a variety of Sangiovese wines as well as a Sauvignon Blanc and Grappa di Brunello. Operated by Giuseppe's daughter Elisa since 1999, the estate produces approximately 5000 cases annually.
Tasting Notes
Sangiovese, the grape variety, featured in this wine has a bright ruby red color. Its bouquet consists of ripe cherries, spices, and a hint of earthiness.
