A flagship Napa Valley Bordeaux-style blend from Inglenook’s storied Rutherford estate, this 2019 Rubicon is rich, complex, and built for aging. Visually striking with an opaque ruby-red color, it opens with layered aromas of blackberry, black cherry and cassis that give way to deeper notes of espresso, clove, tobacco and black licorice with air. On the palate it’s full-bodied and structured, with fine, silky tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, seamless finish that carries subtle herbal and anise accents.
