About this wine
One of the most compelling modern vintages from this First Growth estate, combining sensual richness with classical structure. It opens with captivating aromas of cassis, blackberry, cherry, violet, and cigar box, layered with notes of graphite, spice, and cedar. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, seamless and deeply concentrated, with ultra-refined tannins and a silky texture. The finish is long, perfumed, and incredibly precise, showing both immediate allure and exceptional aging potential—often considered one of the greatest Lafite vintages of the decade.
