Caladan shows an elegant synthesis of Cabernet Franc and Merlot that reveals the utterly unique essence of Napa Valley's mountain appellations. The word beauty is what defines this wine. Floral notes of rose petal are followed by dark cherry, huckleberry, black tea, cocoa, and elegant tannins. Perfectly balanced, this is a wine with layers and nuance like a Bogie and Bacall movie that resonates long after the credits have played out. This red wine is luxurious with silky tannins, flavors of Bing cherry, black tea and white pepper. Floral aromas of rose petals are balanced by the wine's fine minerality. This has a Cork closure.
