The 2022 Château Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay offers a vibrant and elegant expression of Carneros’ cooler-climate Chardonnay. Aromatically you’ll find notes of green apple, sliced pear and vanilla bean with subtle undertones of stone fruit and almond. On the palate it has a graceful texture—balanced acidity frames flavors of nectarine, lemon zest and a whisper of oak and toast, giving a creamy richness without overwhelming the fruit. It finishes with a clean, lingering note of vanilla and soft almond. Critics, including James Suckling, awarded it 90 points.
