Champagne Taittinger La Francaise Brut

The unique Taittinger Brut La Française is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier wines from over 35 villages. The high proportion of Chardonnay at 40% sets it apart from other nonvintage Champagnes. With presses located in the vineyard for immediate fruit pressing and cold fermentation under controlled temperatures, the wine is then blended and undergoes a second fermentation in cool cellars. Aged for nearly 4 years on lees, more than double the legal minimum, this Champagne reaches peak aromatic maturity, resulting in a delicately balanced consistency.
