Tenuta Nuova, meaning “new estate,” was conceived as a groundbreaking project, selecting a unique site south of Montalcino to craft a Brunello that redefines tradition with its power, elegance, and purity.

The 2021 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" presents a deep, shimmering ruby red in the glass, opening with an explosive and dark aromatic profile. The nose is a complex symphony of blackberry preserve, black raspberry, and plum, layered with sophisticated secondary notes of dark chocolate, incense, and cigar box. Its Mediterranean character is further defined by savory hints of rosemary, wild sage, and a touch of licorice.
On the palate, the wine is massive yet surprisingly weightless, delivering a paradox of power and grace. It feels more vertical and energetic than previous vintages, driven by a bright spine of acidity and a distinct flinty mineral edge. The fruit is dense and saline, supported by a web of incredibly ripe, velvety tannins that provide a firm, polished structure.
